Position: Business Development Manager
Relevant Experience:

  • More than 25 years experience in the Australian animal feed industry with breadth of experience gained from roles including Animal Nutritionist, Technical Manager and General Manager.
  • Senior roles held in Weston Animal Nutrition and Ridley Agriproducts in which strong professional relationships were developed with many of the key personnel in major industry players including Ingham Enterprises, Baiada Poultry, Ridley and a large number of medium sized companies.
  • An in depth understanding of the processes involved in feed manufacture and their subsequent impact on the addition, blending and testing for micro-ingredient content.

Brendan Cook

Qualifications: B.App.Sc. (Chem)
Position: Laboratory Manager
Relevant Experience:

  • 17 years experience in chemical analysis, validation and instrumentation including GC/MS and LC/MS techniques in food, pharmaceutical and residue testing.
  • Overall responsibility for laboratory operation including method development and conduct of contract analytical work in association with Senior Analytical Scientist, Principal Investigators and liaising with customers.
  • Responsible for compilation and co-ordination of analytical reports and associated raw data.

Charles Halloway

Qualifications: B.Sc (Hons), MSciTech, MRACI CChem
Position: Senior Analytical Scientist
Relevant Experience:

  • 9 years experience in chemical analysis, validation and instrumentation.
  • Overall responsibility for development and conduct of contract analytical work in association with the Laboratory Manager and liaising with customers.
  • Responsible for compilation and co-ordination of analytical reports and associated raw data.

Barbara Curtin

Qualifications: Ass. Dip Applied Science
Position: GLP Internal Auditor, QA Auditor
Relevant Experience:

  • 17 years experience in cereal chemistry research with extensive use of a wide variety of laboratory instrumentation including HPLC.
  • Extensively involved in the initial establishment of VHR Analytical Laboratory as Laboratory Manager including quality assurance aspects.
  • Laboratory management responsibility for operation of VHR Analytical Laboratory for 6 years in the development and conduct of contract analytical work.
  • For 1 year performing as GLP internal auditor for VHR Analytical Laboratory.

Charlene Lai

Qualifications: B.Sc (Applied Chemistry)
Position: Laboratory Analyst
Relevant Experience:

  • 5 years experience in R&D on Drug Delivery System in Ministry of Defence, Singapore.
  • Involved in VHR method development and contract analytical work in association with Principal Investigator and Laboratory Manager.
  • Responsible for compilation of raw data and checking of results.

Inna Salamakha

Qualifications: M.SciTech (CALM), MRACI CChem
Position: Laboratory Analyst
Relevant Experience:

  • 5 years experience in chemical analysis and instrumentation in food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Involved in VHR method development and contract analytical work in association with Principal Investigator and Laboratory Manager.
  • Responsible for compilation of raw data and checking of results.

Joe Carnevale

Qualifications: BSc (Pure & Applied), Dip FDA, MSc (Organic Chemistry), MRACI CChem
Position: Analytical Consultant (previously Laboratory Manager)
Relevant Experience:

  • More than 33 years experience in chemical analysis and instrumentation in food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • More than 25 years experience managing analytical laboratories performing QC, analytical research and analytical testing services.
  • Specialist experience in chromatographic techniques.
  • Management advice for operation of VHR Analytical Laboratory in the development and conduct of contract analytical work and liaising with customers.
  • Compilation and co-ordination of analytical reports and associated raw data.
